TopLab® Ultim is a new generation of worktop material, built to redefine what an HPL surface can deliver. It combines over 65 years of Trespa's innovation with a new, proprietary surface technology, pushing past the boundaries of chemical, heat, scratch and wear resistance.
New Technology: Alumina reinforced
Trespa integrates fine alumina particles into the top layer, then cures it using its advanced Electron Beam Curing technology. The result is a tougher decorative surface that integrates seamlessly with the panel core.
Trespa® TopLab® Ultim's chemical resistance creates a surface that withstands a broader range of chemicals at higher concentrations.
TopLab® Ultim withstands dry heat up to 200°C. This higher tolerance better protects against hot objects, reducing the risk of permanent marks.
TopLab® Ultim withstands the typical stress of daily use without visible marking. Even at the microscopic level, the surface hardness helps prevent micro-scratches, tiny grooves where bacteria settle, and cleaning agents cannot reach.
In a lab, the surface takes chemicals, heat and handling all day long. That is the normal load, and it repeats every day the lab is in use.
A single spill or a single hot beaker is rarely what damages a surface. The damage comes from the same contacts repeating, day after day. A surface that handles that load well today is the one that keeps handling it as the years go by.
