Unique in-house technologies
Trespa is internationally recognised for its panels and their contribution to architecture. The premier product line Trespa® Meteon®, Trespa's leading family of architectural panels for façades and exterior applications is created to inspire, engineered to perform and built to endure.
Trespa® Meteon® is a decorative high-pressure compact laminate (HPL) with an integral surface manufactured using Trespa's unique in-house technologies, Dry-Forming (DF) and Electron Beam Curing (EBC).
In the production process Trespa uses materials from natural sources: paper (Kraft core,impregnated paper) or wood chips. Impregnating wood fibres with resin and heating them under high pressure to form a fibre matting is known as Dry-Forming (DF) and is one of Trespa’s inhouse developed processes. At a later stage, a package of core material will have its coloured surface paper added and be pressed again to form the finished panel.
Electron Beam Curing
The Electron Beam Curing (EBC) process is designed to give Trespa® Meteon® outstanding appearance and original freshness that holds for many years. Trespa Meteon panels perform outdoors exceptionally well. Sun and rain will have no significant effect on the panel’s surface. Trespa Meteon is practically impervious to acid rain as well.
