Argolite

Argolite AG is Switzerland's leading manufacturer of decorative high pressure laminates (HPL) and one of the manufacturers in Europe. Established for over 50 years, this traditional family-own business in Willisau, Switzerland employers 75 staff, highly qualified and experienced in HPL production. The company manufactures a very large number of different products with hundreds of colours and designs.

0.9mm HPL

The collaboration with Argolite started because of market demands for thinner laminates surfaced with Trespa's decorative finishes. Consequently, in 1985, Trespa signed an agreement with Argolite to produce 0.9mm thick HPL with the Athlon surface finish. At that time, Trespa's policy was to focus on the production, marketing and sales of HPL compact panels.

In 2002, Trespa extended the collaboration with Argolite to produce 0.9mm thick HPL with the Virtuon Metallic surface. Trespa markets the HPL Collection as the Virtuon Metallics HPL Collection in all European countries. Through their collaboration with Argolite, Trespa is able to supply the market with 0,9mm HPL with its unique Electron Beam Cured (EBC) Surface.
