Visible Fixing with Screws
Visible Fixing with Screws
Visible fixing can be used for panels with a thickness of 1/4" and up. Panels with a thickness of > 5/16" can be fixed invisibly. It is extremely important when fixing panels to ensure that they can move freely and evenly. The diameter of pre-drilled holes must be at least 1/8" greater than the screw diameter.
Screw Details
Screws with countersunk heads must not be used, as they restrict the ability of the panels to move. The screw must be properly centered in the drillholes. From a panel thickness of 5/16" upwards, a recessed screw can be used, optionally covered with a plastic cap flush with the face of the panel.
You can also use the quick assembly screws designed for Trespa. The drillhole diameter must then be 5/16". The screw must be perfectly centered.
Ventilation
Ventilation regulations need to be taken into account. Read more about ventilation regulations.
