Maica Laminates

Maica Laminates Sdn. Bhd. (www.maica-laminates.com) is Malaysia's leading manufacturer of decorative high pressure laminates (HPL).  The company was founded in 1968 as a joint venture between a Malaysian and a Japanese company. Today, the company exports 70 percent of its output to customers in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Guam, Mauritius, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippines and Thailand. 
 

Agreement for Manufacturing and Distribution

In 2005, Maica Laminates and Trespa International signed an agreement for the manufacture and distribution of Trespa HPL thin  products and HPL compact panels.  Using the same raw materials and proprietary technology as Trespa, Maica Laminates produces HPL-products which are marketed in the Asia Pacific region under the Trespa brand name, meeting the same high performance standards as those currently produced in The Netherlands.  Furthermore, Maica Laminates is the exclusive distributor in the Malaysian market for all Trespa panels produced both in Malaysia and The Netherlands.
