2005- Trespa International and Maica Laminates (based in Malaysia - Asia) sign an agreement for the manufacture and distribution of Trespa HPL thin products and HPL compact panels.
2004- Trespa International Weert obtains ISO 14001 accreditation - and becomes one of the first producers of panel products to receive such recognition.
2003 - Inauguration of Panel Assembly Line 7. One of the biggest machines of its type, and specially built for Trespa including a state-of-the-art control room.
Established representation and presence in APAC.
Trespa International enters into a formal association with Sareco and Argolite leading to the expansion of its Virtuon range. Apart from Trespa Virtuon Metallics in HPL Compact format, Trespa also introduces Virtuon HPL 0.9 mm and Duhometallics.
2002 - Trespa International and Bobrick Washroom Equipment form a partnership for the launch of Sierra Series Partitions.
2001 - Introduction of Trespa Façade Solutions (TFS) providing a complete turn-key service for architects and customers.
2000 - Virtuon is added to the Trespa family of products.
1999 - TopLabPLUS, the next generation of high performance laboratory worktops, is launched.
1997 - Trespa establishes representation and presence in North America.
HAL Holding NV buys the shares of Trespa International from Hoechst AG.
1994 - The Meteon, Athlon and Toplab product lines are repositioned. Trespa receives ISO 9001 accreditation. Trespa International BV is established
1991 - TopLab is launched as the ideal solution for high performance laboratory furniture.
1990 - Trespa Generation 2 is launched. This product is based on DF technology for its core and on Electron Beam Coating technology for its décor layer.
1984 - New patented production technologies for core materials are introduced. Known as 'prepregs' and consisting of wood fibres and phenolic resin, they replace the more expensive method of impregnating paper. The new process is known as 'Dry Forming.'
1967 - 1960 - The period of rapid development and growth, starting with establishment of the original company and its later purchase by Hoechst. In 1966 and1967, new products were launched for the kitchen market and the new Volkern panel was developed for interior applications.
